Freezer Challenge (Week Two)

Good Morning!

Happy Monday everyone!!

Today I will be giving you an update on my Freezer Challenge.  

I got this idea from The Frugal Girl. You can check out her blog here! 

Last Week’s Freezer Challenge was left over spaghetti, Soyrizo, Frozen Chicken Strips, and Bananas.

Bananas, left over spaghetti, Soy Chorizo, Chicken Strips

 

I made Chocolate Chip Banana Bread. It was so delicious. Unfortunately no picture. Ughhh! #bloggerfail

The leftover spaghetti I made chicken alfredo spaghetti. 

Soy chorizo- I made that with egg for dinner one night last week. Ryan’s request. 

Chicken Strips, I added them to the spaghetti one night, then divided the rest in Ziploc bags.  I later made chicken strip sandwiches. I breaded chicken strips and put them in the airfryer. So good! I actually have a video of the whole process that I am going to share on my social media.  I will link that here. 

I still have chicken strips that we need to eat up. 

This week I will be focusing on the rest of the chicken strips. 

Over the weekend we used up small bag of strawberries, and hash browns. 

Ryan ate the hash browns for breakfast twice and I used the leftover strawberries for Overnight Oats.

For the next week I have the following:

Frozen jasmine rice, the rest of the chicken strips, some misc. girl scout cookies, chocolate ice cream, Pork Dumplings and Italian Sausage. 

I am thinking I can make a copycat Popeyes Chicken Sandwiches with the chicken strips.  These are the ones I made. 

 

Stay Tuned for Next Monday for a Freezer Challenge results and see what else we are eating from our freezer. We did grocery shop on Saturday but I am only including frozen foods that I have had for two months or more.
