Val’s Top 10 Fall Movies + Ryan’s Top Ten Fall Movies
I am so glad we are on the last day of September because it has not been the best month for Ryan and me personally. A couple of weeks ago I lost my grandmother and on the day that was my grandmother’s funeral, we got word that his dad died. So I been dealing with all that with Ryan and their family. So sorry for being absent. Today though I want to welcome my favorite season *FALL*!!! I am glad now that fall is amongst us. My bucket list destination is Salem MA during Fall Season. Both of our lists are not in any particular order either. I had so much compiling my list. Ryan’s list is more horror and we will be doing a video describing this in
Autumn in New York
Fall Foliage reminds me of the movie Autumn in New York. It is cozy and dramatic but the landscape in this movie is very quintessential Fall. It fits the profile of the perfect cozy fall movie. It makes me want to wrap in a cozy blanket with a glass of wine and cry my eyes out as soulmates can not even be together. UGH! rips my heart out every.time.
The Craft
The first time I ever saw this movie omg It scared me but I loved it. I was ten years old and my first time watching a horror film at the theater with my cousins and my brother. This movie is very nostalgic for me but also is very fall to me because it is perfect for the fall season with Halloween on the horizon! Omg, It is very much a 90’s classic film. It is cheesy but when I was so young I felt so cool watching it. And thus my Goth Stage started and honestly never really ended! HA!! I still love black clothing and my Dr. Martens boots. LOL, I have to watch this at least once during the fall season!
You’ve got Mail
Do you remember this movie when it came out? It was such a hit! I love this movie because it reminds me of Fall but also has all the cozy vibes and the early internet scene. So Nostalgic. Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan? How can you now love both more! this movie they are so good on it!
Sweet November
Similar to Autumn in New York but with a twist. It is sad but the background is very fall.
Hocus Pocus
Need I say more? So iconic. One of the reasons WHY I want to spend a full weekend in Salem and pretend I am a northeastern and not just another *fan girl*. 😉
When Harry Met Sally
This one needs no introduction because it is one of the most Iconic films ever.
October Sky
This one is a great family film. About letting your kids be who they truly are. Sometimes they will not follow what you want them to pursue but what they want to and what makes them happy. It has that Fall vibe and it is such a great film.
It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown
I like this cute artistic film! It is the perfect little film to watch for Halloween especially if you want something lighthearted and cute. You will always be entertained by
Coco
I love Coco and it is a class film for all ages. It is Disney, It is classic. What else could you possibly want!!
The Nightmare Before Christmas
This is one of my all-time favorite movies. I have a dress to prove it!!
