Val’s Top Five Podcasts

I am so glad it’s Friday! I am so ready for the weekend!  Today, I am talking about my favorite podcasts. I am so excited because I love podcasts, and today, I will be talking about my favorite ones.

Number 5:) Citations Needed

Citations Needed is a podcast that Ryan introduced me to, and we listened to it together. Here is a brief summary: It is about analyzing the media, which has a specific hegemonic interest in maintaining capitalism’s power.

It is exciting, so it is my number five pick.

Number 4:) Yo Quiero Dinero (I want money)

Yo Quiero Dinero is my number four pick, and it is number four because it is relatively new, at least to me. I love it because, as a Mexican-American Woman, I was not financially literate, so through this podcast, I have learned so much. Generational wealth, baby! She also has a book, and I plan on buying it. If you are Hispanic or Mexican-American, then listen to this podcast. Her topics are unique, and she has a bit for everyone.

Number 3:) Namaste Bitches

Namaste Bitches is no longer playing. But I put it on the list because I am a Teresa Giudice fan, and her podcast always has interesting guests. It no longer exists, sadly. Go give it a listen, though!

Number 2:)Behind the Bastards

This podcast is my favorite because it discusses politics, history, and world affairs. It is a deep dive into a person who made history but in a negative way. This podcast is entertaining and very detailed. There is so much information that they have to divide the episodes into several.

Number 1:) Crime Junkie

Now, it is the number one podcast that I absolutely love! Crime Junkie is a podcast where they make deep dives on missing people and killings. It is like a 48-hour mix of any actual crime show on TV. I am obsessed with Crime Junkie. I love to listen to them while I am working. Oddly, it relaxes me.

You can’t go wrong with any of these Podcasts. These podcasts are all very different and fun to listen to.

Of course, that is just my opinion.

What type of podcasts do you like? As you can tell, my list is all over the place; in short, it varies.

If you missed any of these week’s posts, I posted a recipe this week. You can go here for that.

Have a great weekend!
