Weekend Recap

This weekend we went to the farmers market and bought the best cheese jalapeno bread ever. IT was so fluffy inside. I didn’t take a picture and I regret it. BUT you have to believe me when I say it was so good.  Between my boyfriend and I we ate it in one day. I love our local farmers market it is in the downtown of Martinez. They close our downtown area to traffic and they have the farmers market every Sunday. We had brunch with Ryan’s mom downtown also before going to the farmers market. After that we went to her house because we needed to help her take the Christmas tree down. Of course we always come back with tons of leftovers and sugar cookies we had made on Christmas. 

After all that we ordered pizza and watched the Golden Globes. I was very excited that Lily Gladstone won for Best Female Actress! Very exciting

It was a great show! Many deserving people won. One of my favorite actors that I have a major crush on Jeremy Allen White won also!!! 

After that we finally came home and hung out with Lucky the rest of the night. 

On Saturday we slept in and just did chores around our home. We been slowly settling in. Mostly everything is in its place and I was gifted a Vanity so I can’t wait to put that in our room I will take photos once our room is all set up. Back in December Ryan’s mom’s friend was moving and she got rid of so much furniture and gave it to us. We got a leather recliner, the vanity, a frame for our bed with box spring, bedside table and a dresser. Plus she gave us so many kitchen cooking tools. Very grateful! It feels like our home is completed.  I got a very small bonus at work and bought a small ice maker! Our fridge doesn’t have one; I am so happy we got one. We also got a water cooler so now we don’t have to buy water bottles. Two very important things we needed. 

Still working at my job hoping to get a raise in a few months. In May I will have been there a year. 

So that was my weekend and Life update.
